Crossing
The memories of our crossing have faded mostly now as I write this. We decided not to dally and get to NY at a comfortable pace as we had already lost time and we were feeling anxious to see family and didn’t want to miss the pagent of the Autimn leaves that happens every fall. So we drove on a schedule that took us off the road by dusk and had us on the road by 9am usually. No major issues crossing the Rockies, we had a lower elevation route and Dreamweaver did great with no overheating issues at all! Once we crossed over the big mountains i started to play with the veggie oil system on the flat lands of Wyoming and Nebraska. I was impressed with the system and had no problems with new fuel pump, the bus ran great on fryer grease and did notice any difference in power.
